Keith's jewellery presence is well known in the inner circles of Cornwall. Selling and displaying his items over the past twenty years, with items being featured in galleries and Art and craft displays throughout Cornwall.
Keith creates low volume high quality handmade pieces from scratch taking influences from everyday items and places around Cornwall and from travelling the Globe.
Keith is proud to state that every item he has produced has Sold! Which only cements the level of dedication he puts in. Keith also provides a lifetime warranty on all of his pieces. (for as long as he is alive he laughs). Which, not only gives confidence in his artwork but a reassurance in his totally one off items.
Keith, has a vision whereby if you purchase one of his items it is a lifetime piece, that it is the only one every made by him. About Keith
I moved to Cornwall from the Midlands about fifty years ago.
I did an apprenticeship as a motor mechanic and worked for some time on Rolls Royce and Bentley, plus other vintage and rare cars. This is where I picked up many engineering and metal working skills.
My introduction to jewellery making was my brother in-law, who was an art teacher doing jewellery with his students. He gave me a sheet of silver and some tools and I was hooked!
I have always been a low volume, as most of my pieces are a one off. I am influenced by antique African jewellery and the work of Maya.
I like using found things such as sea glass and bits of pottery that I incorporate into my jewellery. When using sea glass I don't modify it in anyway, they are as I found them on the beach.
